Hi Bill(?)-think the revamped site is great(you might remember me as the affable geezer who gave you the grayfolded Grateful dead cd at the roxy TOTP 2001 ).Tried to download the guitar Faves show and only got the first five mins,is the file corrupted,or was that intentional! Recently got the Matching Mole On the Radio cd-great stuff.also the Phil doc on the cd/dvd combo is fascinating.

This is a VERY good new website. Clean and fast and cool. Now we just need some REAL info about the new Roxy cd and (presumed) tour to stoke the fires of discussion. Things have been "dark" for too long and has Jan. 1 2009 rapidly approaches it is time for things to get moving! One of these days the logjam has got to break! BF can't hold off finishing the new cd forever!
Ever hopeful, DC

I too am looking forward to hearing the new Roxy material, but in the meantime there is a wealth of stuff going on on the perimeters of the roxy scene to investigate -the new Firebird album and Byrne/Eno which are both very rewarding in individual ways.Interesting that two of the Firebird tracks were originally intended for the Mainstream project-I particularly like the track with samples from Brief Encounter.Looking forward too to the new editions of 801 live too.Charles Hayward gets around a bit!-he played a gig in Birmingham with Damo Suzuki and Kawabata Makato of Acid mothers.
