Bill, Will the shows at Ronnie Scotts be recorded for possible release?

There is an arrangement to record and film some of the nights (not sure which yet) but I would guess Tuesday and Wednesday when the 'special guests' put in an appearance. The plan would be a live CD and a DVD.

Special Guests? Any hints as to who these might be? Cheers, Richard

Obviously biased but they were bloody good last night. For three day's rehearsal they were amazingly tight. Played most (all? I had to leave before the end) of Firebird VII, Diamond Head, 6PM, the Quiet Sun version of RongWrong, Miles Davis's Filles de Kilimanjaro...
Tonights show is being recorded/filmed. May see you there if not then tomorrow.

For those not able to make Ronnie Scotts, Tuesday night's show featured David Gilmour as a special guest. It was recorded and videod and. hopefully, a CD and DVD will be forthcoming soon.
Wednesday featured two special guests. Trumpeter Guy Barker played a stunning version of the band's Miles Davis song and then Andy Mackay stepped up to play Out of the Blue, a perfectly wonderful version of Tara and the final piece East of Asteroid.
The overall performance was fantastic with everyone on great form.
They will be playing a week's worth of dates in Poland in early June (anyone for Warsaw?) but there seemed to be a genuine enthusiasm to take this project further.

Tell them to visit Chicago! Poland is a little far for me .

I'm sure they'd be pleased to if you could find a promoter who'd make it worth their while!
